DIGITAL IMMERSION

Take a deep breath and dive into a wild environment.
For a handful of minutes, your screen turns into a gateway to the depths of the oceans,
a forest asleep under the snow, or to a world still invisible to our eyes.

Our heart rate changes, our pupils dilate.
In this virtual journey, we discover and decipher fragments of life.
It amazes us, delights us, intoxicates us as much as it can stress or revolt us.
Heartbeats now slow down, and we are reconnecting with something deep within us,
memories inherited from our distant ancestors.

A handful of minutes is sometimes all it takes to tell a story, offer a different perspective,
spark a flame, or motivate engagement and action.

This is the challenge I'm trying to tackle through documentary filmmaking.

FILMMAKING

The Song of the Arviqs

In the Arctic Circle, whales were considered for several centuries as a spiritual people whose realm extended under the seas. Today, in the face of a deafening 21st century, these beliefs are fading and it becomes increasingly difficult to hear the voice of cetaceans. Biologists, linguists, and musicians are still trying to listen to these oceanic societies, in order to understand and protect them.

Fluorescence

How about trading your Homo sapiens perspective for a more... animal one?

A change in lighting and suddenly, fluorescence reveals itself. Trees light up in red, jellyfish in green, and scorpions in blue! A psychedelic vision that challenges our understanding of wildlife and immerses us in the heart of scientific research.
